MODERN TILE

Although slate has long been used in traditional settings, it is increasingly also seen as a modern material, which was solidified by our Unfading Green Slate being used as the main flooring material in Yoshio Taniguchi’s renovation of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City (and more recently, used again for its expansion).

To complement slate as a modern material, we have created the following ready-ship ¼” tile sizes, which we feel are more modern modules, starting at $6 psf:

Set with ⅜” Joints

6 x 12 (actual tile size nominal 5 ⅝” x 11 ⅝”)

Butt Joint

4 x 14

2 x 8
