Emerson Limestone Vein Cut offers a subtle, striated appearance. Because of its excellent properties and performance, and warm color, architects repeatedly specify this natural limestone for interior stone flooring, stone treads and risers, fireplace surrounds and stone wall cladding. Emerson Limestone Vein Cut is available in honed and sandblasted finishes.

Weathering Characteristics

Like all limestones, Emerson will fade when used outside or when exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time.




A high quality dolomitic limestone. It is hard, dense and durable and has a low absorption rate. Naturally occurring, small holes are visible. Like all limestones, Emerson is affected by acids. No detrimental effects on the environment.


Depending on the application, impregnating sealers may be required. Contact us for information regarding the use of sealers, impregnators, cleaning, etc.
